I woke up in the middle of the night and just laid there as I heard the town snow plow circling a nearby street. Our bed was cozy and warm. Puppy was snuggled up close and suddenly stretched pushing his paws against my stomach. Jesse was quietly breathing away in a deep sleep and I knew his strep throat medicine was finally making him feel better. It was simple, but I loved this moment and my little family.
I love this post! It reminds me to enjoy the small things in life.
